Dear Student Emergency Grant Fund, Words can't express just how truly grateful I am. You have made a difference in my life and the lives of my children. Thank you for helping me when I needed it the most.
I would like to thank you for what you have done. Since you afforded me the ability to live in a place off the streets, I am now an honor student, which is amazing to me!
I just can't thank you enough for the help and support you provided me with. I'm finally graduating in May and I wouldn't be here without your support. Please let me know how I can help and give back
Have you ever experienced food, housing, or other basic needs insecurities? Over 47% of our students face these challenges at some point in their college career, interfering with their ability to learn and thrive. This Giving Tuesday, your donation will support the ASI Food Pantry, Student Emergency Housing Fund, and Student Emergency Grant Fund. These programs help students meet their basic needs, allowing them to focus on their education, graduation, and how they will impact our community. Give back this holiday season - to our students, to our future.
Did you know that 81% of Americans appreciate a charitable donation be made in their name over receiving a physical gift? This holiday season, give your loved ones a gift that has a BIG impact, the gift of possibilities.
When you donate in honor of a loved one, we'll send them (or you to give to them) a holiday card letting them know a donation has been made in their honor - a donation mitigating homelessness, hunger, and crisis situations for a student in need.
To complete this generous act, fill-in the individual's name in the free form box entitled "This gift is in honor/memory of" below. Then, in the the address panel following, please indicate where you would like the holiday card to be sent to.
If you have any questions about this process, please call the Office of Annual Giving at (916) 278-2140.
