The need for well-trained mental healthcare practitioners is becoming increasingly apparent as we face unprecedented challenges. The College of Education remains committed, during this challenging time, to graduating well-trained counselors and school psychologists to meet the growing need for diverse and accessible mental health resources in our schools and throughout the community.
Our nationally recognized School Psychology and Counselor Education programs offer a rigorous curriculum combined with extensive practical experience that prepares graduates for careers in a variety of settings from public schools to private practices. As we aim to graduate diverse cohorts that represent the communities they serve, the financial realities of these lengthy, challenging programs becomes a barrier for many interested students.
Now more than ever, our students need your support to achieve their educational goals and graduate to join you in serving our communities. Your donation to the School Psychology or the Counselor Education scholarship funds will help alleviate financial burdens while encouraging and motivating our students to succeed.
