Making a difference at Sacramento State for over 35 years. MEP has provided vital services to help minority populations in engineering and those from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds realize their potential to succeed in engineering, computer science and construction management majors in order to earn their degrees.
MEP offers a peer community for its students, most of whom are first in their family to attend college. The program’s rigorous academics, leadership preparation, and collaborative problem-solving training produce highly-skilled graduates who meet STEM industry’s workforce needs.
MEP Provides:
MEP creates a family-like culture where students feel supported in their academic careers and now more than ever this is needed and you can help! Donations to MEP offer support to continue providing program services and funding for student scholarships. You can direct your gift to the MEP fund, funds will be used for current and upcoming pressing needs or to the MEP scholarship fund which will be used to award scholarships to students in the program each year.
