| Foster the academic excellence of all Sacramento State students by supporting the Programs of Excellence, which provide students with the specialized support and services to overcome the unique obstacles faced by former foster youth, veterans, young men of color, and other communities. | Provide direct support through scholarships to students who are determined to obtain their undergraduate degree while facing personal, financial, or other hardships. | Help students gain access to internships (GAIN) in government, public policy, civic engagement, and other public service fields by eliminating the financial obstacles that can prevent students from accepting unpaid internships. |
