Construction Management Student Competition 2022

UPDATE: We have reached our initial goal of $90,000 to cover the costs to compete in this year’s Reno competition! We have now extended our goal to raise additional funds that will provide support for us to send students to other competitions and for professional development opportunities in the upcoming year. There is still time to donate and we hope you will consider helping us reach our extended goal and equipping our Sac State students for success.

We are excited to announce that on February 9, 2022 Sacramento State Construction Management Students will be back in Reno, in-person to embark on their 16th year of participating in the 3-Day Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Competition!

Why this competition is important.

Student competitions are hands-down, one of the most effective career-building opportunities for participating college students!

In preparation, our students will go through months of rigorous training from local industry professionals and faculty coaches, many of whom are Sacramento State Construction Management alumni themselves. Students will be tasked with creating proposals consisting of work plans, estimates, schedules, and logistics and must answer a number of specialized problems, all of which emulate real-world work experience leading to accelerated learning and career readiness—greatly benefiting both the industry and our students. This highly successful industry-university training model has fostered 32 Regional and 37 National awards.

We need your help to make this happen!

These results could not have been achieved without generous industry support. We need to raise $90,000 to equip our teams for success.

We hope you will consider helping us reach out goal! You can contribute any amount you would like, not just the sponsorship amounts. To do so, click the "Give Now!" button by the main image and designate the amount you would like to contribute. Gifts of any size make a big difference and show that we stand behind our students!
