Emergency Supplies for Local First Responders

Sacramento State’s College of Continuing Education continues to lead our community and the state of California with exceptional First Responder programs. Each year, approximately 400 learners enroll in Sacramento State’s Paramedic and EMT educational programs. These programs meet our community’s increasing need for trained First Responders. Students benefit from rigorous curriculum, in-person instruction from top professionals in the field, and immediate and valuable job placement opportunities.

The greatest learning tools in the First Responder programs are emergency medical training supplies. Learners practice on interactive mannequins, operating ambulances, and use critical training supplies and equipment such as gloves, masks, syringes, IV dressing, gauze, tourniquets, backboards, traction splints, gurneys and much more. Experience with real tools of the trade is essential to prepare these learners for trained emergency response.

As the only Paramedic program in the entire CSU system, Pre-Hospital learners deserve the best resources in the classroom and lab environment to become the most outstanding First Responders throughout the state of California.

Your generosity ensures that learners have access to the most current educational tools and hands-on experiences, and in turn, providing our local and regional workforce with the best prepared First Responders.

Thank you for considering a gift to support the purchase of training supplies for future Hornet First Responders.
