Our Crowdfunding Groups
Pregnant and parent scholars represent one-third of all Sacramento State students. Not only are they raising the next generation, they are working to create a more hopeful future for them. These inspiring student-parents are often faced with difficult choices when balancing personal, family, work, and student life. All too often, dropping out of college prevails when forced to make a choice.
There is too much at stake for these incredibly ambitious and driven students.
The Parents & Families Program at Sacramento State aims to mitigate the risk of disenrolling by supporting these scholars and their unique needs so they can persist to graduation. We ensure that Sacramento State will always be a place where the future begins by providing the following services free of charge:
