We are excited to announce that on February 8, 2023 Sacramento State Construction Management Students will be back in Reno, in-person to embark on their 17th year of participating in the 3-Day Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Competition!
Why this competition is important. |
Student competitions are hands-down, one of the most effective career-building opportunities for participating college students!
In preparation, our students will go through months of rigorous training from local industry professionals and faculty coaches, many of whom are Sacramento State Construction Management alumni themselves. Students will be tasked with creating proposals consisting of work plans, estimates, schedules, and logistics and must answer a number of specialized problems, all of which emulate real-world work experience leading to accelerated learning and career readiness—greatly benefiting both the industry and our students. This highly successful industry-university training model has fostered 32 Regional and 37 National awards.
