Basic Needs Resource Center
At the heart of our university is a promise: to support every student’s journey to success by ensuring they have the foundation to thrive.
This fall, Sacramento State opened the Basic Needs Resource Center — a new, comprehensive hub of support designed to help students focus on what matters most: their education. Here, students can access free groceries, personal hygiene products, clothing, diapers, and other essentials that sustain health and dignity.
Join us in sustaining vital student support programs that help Hornets overcome financial strain. According to CSU system data, over 40% of Sac State students qualify for CalFresh benefits. Current changes in eligibility criteria threaten to leave thousands of students at risk of food insecurity, making community-driven giving more vital than ever.
Your Giving Tuesday gift can help close that gap, strengthening the foundation that allows students to thrive with stability, dignity, and purpose.
Give today to invest in student success and in the future they’re already building.
