Student Relief Fund
Sacramento State students are ambitious and purpose-driven, committed to learning, leading, and building stronger communities. The Student Relief Fund supports that drive by providing flexible resources for the programs that help Hornets thrive academically and personally.
From mentorship and cultural engagement to tutoring, internships, and leadership initiatives, this fund sustains the experiences that foster belonging, confidence, and achievement. It ensures students have the tools and relationships they need to turn persistence into progress and education into opportunity.
Financial pressures and gaps in essential resources can threaten students’ academic progress. With over 40% of Sac State students qualifying for CalFresh benefits, recent changes in eligibility criteria threaten to leave thousands of students at risk of food insecurity. The Student Relief Fund fills these gaps, providing immediate, flexible support that keeps students connected, supported, and moving toward their goals.
Your Giving Tuesday gift strengthens these programs, helping Hornets build community, sharpen their skills, and step confidently into their potential.
