Invest in the Success of Future Educators Through the Dean’s Fund for Excellence

The College of Education is shaping the next generation of teachers, counselors, school psychologists, and education leaders who will transform lives and communities across our region and state. Your gift supports programs and students preparing to serve in P/K–12 schools, community colleges, and community-based organizations — helping them overcome barriers, complete their credentials, and begin meaningful careers in education.

Your donation to the College of Education Dean’s Fund for Excellence provides flexible support where it’s needed most, empowering the Dean to invest in programs and priorities that make the greatest impact on our students and community. This includes initiatives such as:

  • Helping aspiring teachers complete their credentials by offsetting the cost of testing and assessment fees that often stand between passionate students and their teaching careers.
  • Expanding access and opportunity through professional development, mentorship, and training programs that prepare future educators to lead with excellence and compassion.
  • Enhancing student learning spaces and services, including the Center for Counseling and Diagnostic Services and the American Sign Language Lab, both of which serve our students and the greater Sacramento community.
  • Supporting signature events like the Multicultural Education Conference, the Juliana Raskauskas Lecture, and the Celebration of Teachers — fostering dialogue, scholarship, and inspiration for our future education leaders.
