Students in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program work closely with faculty on active research projects across STEM disciplines. These students contribute to faculty-led research while deepening their understanding of scientific inquiry, gaining experience that extends learning beyond the classroom.

Throughout the summer, students design experiments, analyze data, and prepare presentations while building relationships with faculty mentors and peers. Students develop skills in research, communication, and collaboration, while also building professional networks that support their academic and career goals.

The SURE Program helps make it possible for students to focus on research during the summer without needing to seek additional employment. Your support will help expand access to sustained research experiences and mentorship, allowing more students to participate and continue building pathways from education to opportunity.
