Sustainability comes to life through hands-on learning. Country Day Sustainability Club students are partnering with Sacramento State Sustainability to learn through service and see how environmental stewardship can strengthen a community.

At Sacramento State's CapRadio Garden, Country Day students get their hands in the soil. They help plant and harvest while learning about aquaponics, composting, pollinators, urban agriculture, renewable energy, and other sustainable practices. Produce grown in the garden also supports Sacramento State's ASI Food Pantry, helping ensure all students have access to fresh food.

The partnership connects students through learning and service. Country Day students work alongside Sacramento State students and sustainability professionals, gaining firsthand experience with nationally recognized sustainability efforts that put environmental stewardship into practice.

The Country Day Sustainability Club is raising $5,000 to support Sacramento State's Sustainability efforts. Contributions help sustain opportunities for student learning, service, and environmental stewardship at Sacramento State while providing flexibility to advance sustainability priorities across the University.
