Description

Construction Management Student Competition 2026

Continuing our 2026 fundraising drive, we are evolving our funding model from a traditional sponsorship program to a more donor-centered philanthropic approach. This shift allows us to serve our students best while recognizing the contributions of industry and our benefactors in a more meaningful way. Through this new model, contributors will continue to receive the same recognition and appropriate acknowledgment for their generosity. We look forward to being able to provide acknowledgment letters for your 100% tax-deductible contribution to the University Foundation at Sacramento State.

We ask that donations be received by December 31, 2026

Why this competition is important.

Student competitions are hands-down, one of the most effective career-building opportunities for participating college students!

In preparation, our students will go through months of rigorous training from local industry professionals and faculty coaches, many of whom are Sacramento State Construction Management alumni themselves. Students will be tasked with creating proposals consisting of work plans, estimates, schedules, and logistics and must answer a number of specialized problems, all of which emulate real-world work experience leading to accelerated learning and career readiness—greatly benefiting both the industry and our students. This highly successful industry-university training model has fostered 32 Regional and 37 National awards.

We need your help to make this happen!

These results could not have been achieved without generous industry support. We need to raise $140,000 to equip our teams for success.

We hope you will consider helping us reach out goal! You can contribute any amount you would like, not just the sponsorship amounts. To do so, click the "Give Now!" button by the main image and designate the amount you would like to contribute. Gifts of any size make a big difference and show that we stand behind our students!

Donations received by December 31, 2026, are eligible for full sponsorship benefits! Contributions received after December do not guarantee all benefits can be fulfilled. Maximize your premiums and give now!
