Description

Research gives students the opportunity to explore, create, and contribute. Through the Student Research Center, undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent alumni from across academic disciplines share their research, scholarship, and creative activities with the Sacramento State community.
Each year, the Student Research Center coordinates the Fall Poster Forum and Spring Symposium Competition. Alongside these events, the center provides workshops that help students build valuable skills as they prepare to present their work. Through these experiences, students practice communicating their ideas to faculty, peers, and the broader campus community.
Support for the Student Research Center helps enhance the workshops, events, and services that connect students with research opportunities and presentation experiences. Contributions to the Provost's Fund for Academic Excellence provides support for programs such as the Student Research Center which responds to student needs and strengthens the programs that are essential for their learning, growth, and success.
